Changing the channel: some significant updates for our strategic partners

New team members, new wins and partner portal upgrades to deliver better services

The past year, we have been making numerous improvements to our Strategic Partnership Program, to help Distributors, MSSPs and VARs sell our modular threat intelligence solutions to customers. In January, the relaunch of our multi-market program has helped drive higher margins and accelerate partner revenue and growth.

Our Strategic Partnership Program enables our partners in the channel to strengthen their existing professional services offering and open new and highly profitable revenue streams – with all the heavy lifting done through our unique modular cloud solution.

To accommodate the expansion of the program, we have welcomed several new dedicated team members.

  • Zoe Clark has been appointed Channel Director for Northern Europe, bringing a wealth of experience working in the Channel for the likes of Checkpoint and Cyren.
  • We have also brought on board Omar Akhtar, focusing on the UK, Nordics and Middle East, who joins after growing Veeam’s channel business over the course of nearly seven years.
  • Finally, Simone Hoefig will be working with Eckhard Bogner in the DACH region – Simone has been building regional channel businesses for Kaspersky, McAfee, and Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity to name a few key players.

Our team has helped to open our shop to many more distributors, MSSPs and VARs, and have been taking on partners in multiple regions around the world. From Tech Data, NTT Security, and Helmich IT Security in the German-speaking region of Europe, to BlueCube and NGS in the UK, to Credence Security and Spire in the Middle East, we continue to go from strength to strength together.

Award-winning threat intelligence

Aside from strengthening the team, we have also been strengthening our product portfolio and achieving industry and commercial recognition for doing so. In a matter of months, we have been the proud recipients of several significant awards.

In September we were named ‘Threat Intelligence Company of the Year’ by the Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards 2018. Just last week, we were recognized for industry leadership and promoting new collaborative models in the Enterprise Security and Enterprise Threat Detection categories at the Security Excellence Awards.

The independent judging panels both highlighted our collaborative approach to cybersecurity, developing new models to encourage more companies to work together – and this includes partners.

Partner portal upgrades

In line with these milestones we have been making ongoing but significant changes to our dedicated Strategic Partner Portal. We’ve improved usage of space on the site to make it significantly more responsive and allowing partners to contact us much more readily.

Users will also notice that deal registration incentives and our dedicated sales and marketing support is also much more prominent and user-friendly on the site. They may also search for resources and make requests, ensuring that individual partners are serviced effectively and efficiently.

Overall, we are excited to expand our channel program even further in 2019, and look forward to welcoming even more information technology distributors, MSSPs and VARs into the Blueliv community. We believe that the fight against cybercrime is a collaborative effort, and demonstrate this value across all the work that we do.
