blueliv has been awarded the SIC 2001 prize for its “development and marketing of sýnap-link, a tool designed to give intelligence to the information security ”. These prizes were awarded by the prestigious SIC magazine at the securmatica, the international security congress reference of the hispanoamerican community. The prize was given by Jorge Davila Muro to Daniel Solis Agea, the present CEO and founder of blueliv for his innovative technology.
This prize highlights the acknowledgment of the trajectory in the creation of intelligent and colaborative technology in security, which we perform from experience, vocation and innovative ideas in blueliv, especially in a technology based on Security Business Intelligence and the DLP outside the front perimeter, which our suite products sýnap-link provides.
On the other hand, we take this opportunity to congratulate the other awards in this edition, especially the organizer of the event Rooted CON (which blueliv patronized in 2011), established as the reference event in the disclosure of technical knowledge in computer security. blueliv sponsors the 4th International Meeting of Information Security, ENISE organized by INTECO in the city of Leon. The topic of the meeting is based on the New Frontier of the Cybersecurity, to talk about security in the world which must reach every organization, companies, etc both in public and private scopes.
In this meeting we participate in the ESINE-T32 workshop: Cloud computing and electronic identity, lecturing on “Evolution of security towards collaborative environments supported by cloud computing”. In this workshop the blueliv style of collaborative security will be looked into how it is helping to implant the global form in the organizations as well as the international companies, as seen in the products developed by the department of I+D+I of blueliv as in the case of beliv.
AD|QUIERE, the forensic distribution which blueliv develops in collaboration with AEDEL has been published in an article in the well known magazine Linux+.
In the above mentioned article, the characteristics and use of various functions of the 0.8 version of forensic distribution are mentioned, though recently AD|QUIERE 0.9 was published recently, which can be downloaded for free.
Next October 20th the security congress No con Name 2010, will be held in Barcelona. blueliv, in favour of the congress and the Spanish investigation, has created the security contest, giving it the name “Randa Ilumination”.
Different from the usual congresses where the contests are imminently technological, it has been decided that this kind of initiative should be brought to the companies. For these reasons, the contest has been designed to be solved from different fronts: technological, organizational and legal, in a similar way as in a company and by a safety officer or CISO.
In short, “Randa Ilumination” is a contest which is derived from multidisciplinary vocation in which the participants should show their ability to give solution to a real problem, created for the occasion.
Last July, blueliv was elected to participate in “Technological bridge to Brazil” organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona and Barcelona Activa together with other important distinguished technological companies of Spain. In the city of Sao Paulo, from the 18th to 24th of July the committee had the opportunity to be interviewed by local authorities, visit the University of Sao Paulo and Campinas, also the most important technological company incubators: Ciatec and Unicamp. On the other hand, blueliv met long experienced Spanish businessmen, strengthening existing ties between their companies and clients with experience in the country. During the meetings, blueliv presented its expansion plans in the Latinamerica, most especially in Brazil where it was warmly welcomed.

blueliv together with The Spanish Association of Electronic Evidences have launched AEDEL, the first collaborative and free forensic for the Spanish speaking community under the name of AD|QUIERE.
As a starting model and previous to the 0.1 version, a 0.8 version has been published with the object of building a collaborative TO DO list. In this way, a good use of electronic evidence will be promoted in all areas, together with the various groups linked to the forensic world. With the creation of the TO DO list, they can contribute their ideas, so the most innovative needs and features will be added to the 1.0 version. Further information in our blog.

On the 9th of April of 2010, blueliv has been chosen to appear in LA VANGUARDIA, in the printed edition, inside the section “Estrategia Económica & Empresarial”.
